ARE YOU WONDERING HOW SAFE IT WILL BE FOR YOU TO GET YOUR PROCEDURES DONE AT THE BROCKVILLE MEDISPA DURING COVID-19? HOW WILL THINGS BE DIFFERENT GOING FORWARD?

WILL IT BE SAFE TO VISIT THE BROCKVILLE MEDISPA?

As a medical office, we already have very robust infection control protocols in place that is meant to combat a myriad of infectious diseases. Given the nature of COVID-19, we’ve implemented several additions to these protocols to better protect both ourselves and our patients. We adopted, and are strictly following the Canadian COVID-19 Consensus Guidelines for Cosmetic Medical Practices (published on May 5th, 2020) as well as the guidelines of the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

WHAT WILL BE DIFFERENT WHEN THE MEDISPA REOPEN?

Social distancing is impacting significantly how we can safely interact with our patients. Several changes are being made to respect social distancing, while still providing you with the level of service you are accustomed too. Consultations and follow-up appointments will be done virtually, with in office appointments reserved for procedures only. Read below the important changes that you should be aware of.

Changes 01

CONSULTATIONS AND F/U APPOINTMENTS

CONSULTATIONS AND F/U APPOINTMENTS

  • All consultations and follow-up appointments will now be done virtually to decrease unnecessary direct patient contact.
  • Our Initial in depth consultation will be done virtually to ensure we can spend enough “facetime” with you, without the increased risk of COVID infection.
  • eConsults can never replace an in-person assessment, but our patients that had virtual consults tell us that they loved it and that it was as personal as the in office meeting.
  • Do not worry if you are not “tech savvy” We will walk you through the process.

WHAT WE DO TO KEEP YOU SAFE

WHAT WE DO TO KEEP YOU SAFE

We will be contacting our patients on our waiting list in order of cancellation.

  • We are limiting the number of patients that can be in the office at any given time.
  • To allow for social distancing, only one patient will be allowed at the front desk at any time.
  • A physical barrier has been installed at our front desk to keep both you and reception safe.
  • We are spacing our appointments further apart to support social distancing and leave extra time for disinfection.
  • We will screen patients for COVID-19 over the phone, and again when they present to their appointment.
  • We will take temperatures on everyone upon arrival and ask patients to sign a document confirming that they are symptom free.
  • All providers will be using personal protective equipment, including masks, gloves and face shields where needed.
  • As always, our rooms will be meticulously cleaned and surfaces wiped with a viricidal solution.
  • We removed all our pretty flowers and pots from the exam rooms to allow for easy cleaning and to make the room “COVID unfriendly” I know, it sucks for us too!
  • High touch surfaces such as doorknobs, countertops, pens, ipad, etc. (anything someone might touch from the front desk to the treatment room) will be cleaned regularly
